Special laser cutter for productive cutting of HEB/HEA/IPE beams with 3D laser head, in two selectable sizes.
The H5-12 type has a 12m working area, while the H5-25 has a 25m working area. With the latter type you could cut simultaneously on one side, while the next beam is being removed/placed on the other side. The H5 can be ordered with a 12kW and more powerful fiber laser source. Thanks to the segmented work table, transportation and installation can be practically solved despite the large size.

Specifically designed for H beam cutting
SD Laser H series is specially designed for cutting HEB/HEA/IPE beams. Its great advantage over traditional laser cutters is that while flatbed laser cutters cannot cut H beams, and tube lasers with a rotating unit cannot hold and rotate large H beams, the H5 is specifically designed for cutting these beams with a profile size from 150x100mm to 1000x600mm! The 3D laser head, special working area and FSCUT9200 control system offer steel structure manufacturers a sure solution for 12m H beam cutting.
The machine body, the stable foundation of the system
The machine body is made of high-strength steel plates with groove-welded seams, which undergo multi-stage stress relief and heat treatment to ensure decades of guaranteed accuracy. The work area is built up in segments, so not only transportation but also installation is practically solved.
• H5-12: For maximum 12 m sections
• H5-25: For maximum 2 x 12 m sections (simultaneous laser cutting and workpiece removal/loading)
Advanced laser head functions, production support solutions
The high-quality laser head of our SD Laser laser cutter has a guaranteed torsional rigidity of up to 2300N, which reduces the possibility of machine downtime due to head collision. If this and the collision protection supported by sensors were not enough, then in the event of a collision, the entire lower part of the laser head can be easily replaced even by the operator, so there is no need to send the entire laser head to the factory service for a long time, which is a unique solution compared to many competing laser machines. The data transmission to the rotation axis of the laser head is precise and fast, with absolutely accurate positioning with a value of 10 arc seconds (0.0025 degrees), without backlash effect. IP67 protection, up to 20,000 hours of use without replacement, no maintenance, no grease change, internally protected wiring (no snags/cable breaks/cable breaks due to squeezing).
