Countless low cost CO2 laser engravers can be found in the range of a number of mobile phone one-man dealers who sell their machines on commercial online platforms or Facebook groups. Our BASIC laser machines are also at this price level, but with the difference that Signdepot offers a Full Service solution for the purchase of the machine free of charge, as well as its own service technicians to assist the user, up to 10 years after purchase. SD PRO and AEON equipment is the ideal choice for our customers where the goal is high quality, high resolution engraving and continuous, error-free availability. In our experience, even 3 shifts of continuous operation are no problem with our industrial PRO laser machines! The prices of PRO machines are still at an affordable level.
SD PRO laser machines have been present on the Hungarian market for 15 years, with hundreds of machines installed at our customers' sites. PRO lasers are characterized by long CO2 laser tube lifetime (up to 10000 hours, while cheaper Chinese machines typically have 5-6000 hours!) and "atomic stable" CNC drive. The drive components are almost non-wearing, for example the stainless steel rollers never need to be replaced and can be rebuilt, whereas with the sliding carriage linear track solution of cheaper machines the carriage wears out and starts to sag over time (the engraving edge can become jagged and the image ghosted).
AEON is a new entrant to the laser machine market, the latest innovation from the company that started about 10 years ago is the MIRA S series (the standard MIRA is old, while the new MIRA S is the new sensation). The new machines not only represent top quality, but also feature a clean design and extras that offer a unique user experience. AEON laser machines are now available not only with the glass CO2 laser tube familiar from Chinese machines, but also with RF laser tubes, which are only found in machines from leading brands. RF lasers allow for finer transitions and more beautiful engraving.
In addition, some of the new AEON laser machine models now combine two functions. They have two laser tubes! It is a well-known trade-off that the lower power 30-60W lasers are suitable for demanding photo engraving, but not powerful enough for productive laser cutting of materials. The high power 150 - 300W lasers are already excellent for cutting plexiglass, wood and other materials at satisfactory speeds, but the over-powered laser is not suitable for photo engraving. AEON laser machines provide a solution to this problem: A lower power RF tube for quality photo engraving and a high power CO2 laser tube for cutting. A machine that almost completely covers the engraving and cutting of well-known laser-cuttable materials!
