The 2-chuck T5 is our top-of-the-range fiber tube laser, which is designed to laser cut 6m sections as standard. It has an automatic feeder and a 2.5m active material tracking take-off system. It can also be ordered with additional options, such as a tilting cutting head, TÜV certification and chucks with larger diameter and weight capacity. Our T5 tube laser cutting machine is a proven model, being the 3rd generation of its kind, which even got upgraded with more useful functions in 2026.
Side-mounted chuck system
The side-mounted design prevents heavy pipes from damaging the racks and linear guides during insertion. It also reduces wear caused by rusty pipe pieces and debris, thereby reducing operating costs. It has a low center of gravity, excellent structural stability and high load capacity.
Semi-automatic feeding system
The chain feeding system is standard equipment of our T5 tube laser. With its help, you only need to place the profile on the feeder, and from then on the entire loading, centering, cutting and dispensing of the cut piece is automatic.
Cutting without scrap loss
The active back and forth movement of the first chuck not only helps with cutting and dispensing, but it can also pass under the cutting head, so the laser head can cut on both sides of the chuck. This allows the material to be used without scrap loss. The chucks also have digitally controlled, automatic centering, meaning that within the given diameter ranges there is no need to manually adjust, measure, or fix anything on the chucks, but loading, fixing, and centering are automatic. Our T5 tube laser's chuck has a maximum diameter capacity of 240mm and can optionally be ordered with a reinforced load capacity of up to 1500kg.
Stable support with active functions
The laser machine is equipped with active supports. The roller pneumatic support not only helps to hold the pipe or closed section during laser cutting, but the section can turn more easily, does not get damaged, does not bend, ensures problem-free laser cutting even with heavy and long fibers. The clamping jaw supports also actively participate in the process: they help in the automatic centering of the sections, and aligning the section to the chucks' axis of rotation during loading.
Servo-driven material-following, tilting take-off unit
The T5 pipe cutter has a 2.5m wide take-off unit. This unit has a material-following movement, so when the profile is rotated, it tilts up and down to actively follow its shape and thus ensures process support on the take-off side while the material is being cut. After cutting, the entire plate tilts down and the cut workpiece slides off.
Bevel cutting (optional)
Our T5 fiber tube laser machine optionally can be ordered with a laser head tiltable at 45°. The extra axis connected to the laser head expands possibilities by allowing the laser head to cut not at a specific angle besides perpendicular cutting. In the case of “3D” cutting, cutting at an angle can reduce post-processing, improve fitting accuracy, and create weld seam preparations.
