Ground Rail – for the highest laser cutting demands
The “Ground Rail” is the solution for high-performance laser sheet metal processing. High-performance laser sources require large steel sheet sizes and weights, which exponentially increases the cost of manufacturing the laser machine, as the precise CNC system is connected to the worktable on which these heavy sheets must be placed. In the case of the S Ground Rail laser cutter, the worktable is located separately and the X-axis beam runs on separate rails with the laser head. This means that the CNC system is not affected by the extreme weight of the sheet, while a table with the required strength can be manufactured, thus reducing the cost of the final laser cutting system. So if your company has a higher, 30kW+ power requirement and a large sheet size requirement, we strongly recommend the SD S Ground Rail fiber laser series instead of the traditional closed (e.g. SD E series).
The laser cutting table and CNC system are built from sections and can be ordered in almost any length, even in sizes up to 12x2m.

The machine body, the stable foundation of the system
The machine body is made of high-strength steel plates with groove-welded seams, which undergo multi-stage stress relief and heat treatment to ensure decades of guaranteed accuracy. In the case of our Ground Rail laser cutter, the worktable is built up in sections and unlike normal cutting machines, it can be ordered in almost any length. In fact, it can even be expanded later!

Our company is committed to Raycus laser source instead of Max, BWT or other cheaper Chinese laser sources. Raycus has service centers in Germany and Italy, while other Chinese brands require the laser source to be sent back to China if it fails, which is expensive and time-consuming. Ultra-large laser sources, up to 200kW!
Our laser machine was the first in the world to be commissioned with a 200kW fiber laser source in 2024. Our goal is to highlight the productivity and material thickness benefits offered by higher laser sources, which can now be obtained at a more affordable cost with our Ground Rail type laser cutter. This series is available in 6kW, 12kW, 20kW, 30kW, 60kW, 120kW and 200kW powers.
Unique, closed laser head design
In the case of similar, open flatbed laser cutters, the laser head is exposed, thereby increasing occupational safety costs, for example, the equipment can only be operated in a separate, closed room. However, the SD S series has a special “mini” cover that moves with the head, isolating it as much as possible from the environment. Although it still does not match the fully closed cabin solutions (SD E series), the SD S series is safer and more advantageous from an occupational safety perspective compared to competing open fiber laser cutters.
TÜV certified for European requirements
There are almost no Chinese laser cutting equipment on the market that has both CE and TÜV certification. We are proud that all SD Laser fiber laser cutters meet the highest requirements for reliability and safe operation. Only the TÜV certificate guarantees, for example, that the housing of your laser cutter has the appropriate OD4+ standard glazing, ensuring the appropriate protection.
